The Emerald Empire Gun Club operates a 44-acre multi use shooting sports facility near Springfield, Oregon. The Emerald Empire Gun Club is a member of the Oregon Association of Shooting Ranges, Oregon State Shooting Association, and is an affiliate of the National Rifle Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Our club is a progressive community and education oriented organization which was conceived and constructed through the volunteer efforts and foresight of its members in the early 1960’s. You can read more about our history by clicking here.
We encourage you to join us and get involved. Our members are involved in bullseye
pistol competitions, benchrest matches, shotgunning, offhand rifle matches and more.
Our club sponsors a youth shotgun program through the Scholastic Clay Target Program
and a separate NRA youth program called the Youth Hunter Education Challenge. We
also have the following shooting ranges available:
Many supervised events are held throughout the year and are listed on our events calendar. From time to time classes are offered regarding reloading, bullet casting, handgun safety, concealed handgun permits, and Hunter Education. Besides the events our club sponsors, other groups use our facilities for their events such as Project Appleseed, local Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops, and law enforcement groups.
Please refer to the events calendar on the website for regularly scheduled classes, registered and informal matches as well as other educational activities.
We invite you to come get involved with our club and we will look for you on the range!
